The shop has been looking more like a trucking company than a grain farm lately with the fleet hauling grain out for both Whispering Hills and hired out for custom hauling when time allows. The snow clearing equipment has been given a bit of a reprieve with a week of warm temperatures but they are back in the shop to keep warm and ready with some snow in the forecast. (Shop report: The Bi-Fold door is finally installed, overhead doors are coming for the shop, the design is giving me fits though)

The footprint is roughly the same as the old one, a little wider, the biggest change was I moved the offices from inside to outside in the formerly empty corner and added a larger door.

That bi-fold door is pretty cool. How much of a p.i.t.a. was it to make?

The bi-fold reminds me of something I have seen laying around the house but I can't figure out what.

That bi-fold door is pretty cool. How much of a p.i.t.a. was it to make? It wasn't terrible, just took a bit of thinking ahead and designing. They do have to be perfectly square to work well though, I think I had to do one side twice.

Its that down here too but specifically a wood house vs a concrete or cement house (concrete silo style elevator structure) or even a modern elevator with all steel structures, they all are what my normal job is, yours is a awesome rendition of one and really enjoy seeing other people's versions of elevator structures from the classis woodhouse like yours strait threw to the all steel setups.thank you again for posting the pictures and the wonderful journal

Awesome as always. I love the snow blower attachment for the swather. Good way to use it in the off season.
