IH 1066 Narrow front.

My brother has a 1066 pedal tractor with a narrow front so I made a 1/64 1066 in his honor so to speak. I took the front end off a 460 and put it on my 1066. I put on different wheels that actually look real and then took a John Deere grain drill and painted it to make it an IH.
Im really happy with the way this turned out. I still got to clean up the right wheel though.

yeah I know, I got some pix from around. I even got a pic of some 86 series tractors with narrow fronts. They look goofy with a cab.

I agree you did a good job and an 86 series would look wierd with a narrow front end. Keep up the good work.

These are the only two pics that I have found and ive looked for a long time. I guess farmers didnt want a narrow front on their tractor with a cab. This might be why...... (just look at hahahahaha)




Dont be too surprised to see one of these in 1/64 scale. hehe

I have never seen an 86 series with a narrow front. Kind of funky looking.
