I got a couple weeks behind. So I will catch up soon enough. During the week of Sept. 25. The weather was nice at the start of the week. But it rained us out around Wednesday. And it kept raining into the weekend. So the harvest was cut short.
I kept on cutting corn. With yields around 100 bushels per acre. The old John Deere 7700 is chugging away. However the harvest was cut short with the rains. With only a couple more fields to go.

did you have to mud out any fields during harvest??? were finding that we have to clean the roads some.... that is one sharp looking 7700 you got there.... we had a a 7720 and an 8820 together doing crops at one time... i remember dad saying he thought the 7720 out did the 8820.... they both ad 6 row heads, and 16' flex heads...
We rarely cut in the mud. It is usually dry. With the amount of rain we had. It took nearly a week to dry out enough to get back out there. Since we no-till plant most of our stuff now. We really make sure not to cut in the mud. As it just makes a mess out of the fields.
