Hey guys, well since we dont have these lanters here I never see what gets to pull them, my question is how big of a tractor would be used to pull this planter I have a model one coming for my new layout...... Sean

Well, did my HW, and found that the DB-44 takes a estimated 225 HP tractor to pull it. So any suggestions (that's NOT John Deere)
I thought it would take a pretty hefty tractor to pull it but guess not, was planning on getting a Case STX Quadtrac to pull it but that's way too big, lol. So I think Im gonna get a Agco DT or a MF 8470.

Not a ton of HP really. A 200HP tractor could pull it easy. Only problem is hyraulics.

since Bauer's bars have wheels in front you need a heavy tractor for when you raise. You also will need a certain gpm pump. I would say anything newer then 95ish and in the 200hp range should do the job.
