Well as some of you may know, we are a highly no-till operation, but last summer after wheat harvest we turned cattle into one of our wheat stubble fields and then it rained and the field got very very compacted. Because of this we decided we had better work this ground over the summer instead of spraying it. We wanted to use something that could get fairly deep and really loosen it up so we decided to take the sweep shanks off our Graham Hoeme chisel and just put regular chisel shanks on, and then pull it pretty deep. I got some pictures so here they are
Here we got all the sweep shanks off.

We got it set and ready to for the next morning but it was 7 by the time we were done with that.
The next day that was all i did for 10 hours, i could only go 4 mph because we were running so deep that it was all the 4850 could do to pull it that fast. Got about 90 acres done.
Not too bad for no GPS huh? lol

Our crop duster was out spraying our wheat field that was next to this one.
Final round, i was lucky to get done because my windshield was starting to get a little wet.
