I went to an antique tractor show and pull last weekend. It is the annual SPPA show in Almena Kansas. SPPA stands for Sunflower Pioneer Power Association. It was a nice weekend for a show. A little wet on Sunday though, it rained the pull out. I will start out with the videos.
This is my friend Ben pulling his 730. She's a smoker. ;D
Here is Dustin (known as 774630 on the boards.) pulling his 52 G that is Grandpa bought new.
Here is my friend Mike pulling my 70. I beat him. ;D ;D
This is our neighbor to the south and his 820.
Here they are running the sawmill. The 820 is running it.
Here they are starting a big stationary motor. They belt it up to a tractor to start it. They say it came out of a mine in Colorado but no one is sure what it was used for.
This is Ben winning the slow race on his 60. That has honestly got to be the slowest tractor I have ever seen.
Stationary baler. No wonder so many old farmers are missing appendages.
Now on with the pics. Here I am loaded up and ready to roll. I used Dad's dodge (We call it Gary since that is the guy who had it before us ;D) to pull to the show. It was a bit of a load.
