Was across the street Yesterday helping Caseihman94 (Garrett) Load corn up for his dad. Then his dad arrived home and had Garrett mow some more hay down while I tagged along to Deerfield Farms Service in Kinsman. Case 990 on the Auger.    Deerfield Farms Service in Kinsman Ohio. what size is that 86 series IH tractor in the shed?? I can answer that for ya, Its a 1086. Thats Garrett's round bailing tractor. Right now it currently has no doors. |

Nice C70, got one that could be a twin to it besides the box. Whats it have for a transmission?

Nice C70, got one that could be a twin to it besides the box. Whats it have for a transmission? Funny question, we don't really know... it's got 2 sticks (one in front, and one in back). we only use the one in the front, and that's a 5 speed. we haven't really messed with the second shifter... |

Sweet! Twin stick! Guessing she has a Detroit under the hood? Alot of people dont know how to shift a twin (including me)

Alot of people dont know how to shift a twin (including me) Sean HA, a detroit, I'd die to have a diesel... it's got a tiny 427 (pretty sure that's what it is) in it. I guess you could call it a twin stick, but like I said, we don't really mess with the second shifter. I might pay with it this fall though... |

I guess you could call it a twin stick, but like I said, we don't really mess with the second shifter. I might pay with it this fall though... Lol your in the same boat as us, i would kill to have a diesel but we have four tandem gas burners... Sounds to me like you have a 5+4. I have heard they are a pain in the butt. We have two 5+2's, an eaton fuller 10 speed, and a eaton fuller 13 speed. |

Sean By straight 10 and 13 do you mean they dont have different ranges with 5 speeds in each one? If thats what you mean then no they arent straight 10 and 13, the 10 speed has two ranges with 5 speeds in each one and a reverse, with another low-low range that you only have to use for starting out with big loads. The 13 speed has 6 gears in two ranges, the lower range with one low low gear. My favorite is the 10 speed, its a pretty easy shifting and simple to learn transmission, it doesn't take long until you can shift with no clutch and not grind on that truck. |

Ok, you have a super 10 and 13 where you have to split the gears.
