Well we finally got started on fertilzing. Its off to a rough start so far but hopefully it gets better. We have only gotten one day of farming but thats doing good for what happened: 1. we got out liquid cart back from the neighbor, he managed to bend the clevis on the cart to the point where the Agco's drawbar wouldnt fit in, a piece of 3/4" plate and 2 new bolts solved that issue. 2. hydraulic hose exploded on one of the wing cylinders, made a mess and wasted a lot of time. Not surprising considering that the hydraulics were made for a tractor with very limited hydraulics Hopefully this will end up like harvest did and after the first day we wont have any more major breakdowns... Our tender truck, not as fancy as most but it works great. I hate terraces... and farming round-and-round-and-round-and-round.... dad took control of the tractor to finish the rest of the field, so I finally got some action pictures. entering the corner the only straight run on this part of the field and a short video from working summerfallow a week ago, forgive the shaking, this field was extremely rough. Nice pics. It is still too wet to get in the field around here. We are hoping maybe this weekend but I don't know if it will happen.

Yeah, we wont be getting into the field anytime soon either. It was still a little wet in the terrace chanels and it rained about 1 3/4" the night we finished that field.

This will be wheat ground. We have around 800 or so acres to do I think. Maybe more maybe less you never know. I am glad we are no longer applying NH3 like we did in the past, now I can do it all myself without dads help refilling.
