Well I was at work and had to turn in my old truck, so on the way back to the shop I drove by the SDC (Strategic deployment center)where they load military vehicles going to the big sand box (Iraq) and saw this Lonestar with a drop deck bed backing up to the dock. It was picking up a brand new HEMMT. That was the first time I saw a Lonestar in Washington state I wish i could've stayed and got more pictures of it. I took the pictures driving so not the best quality Tom The hemmt is not the same truck but this is what it looks like

I love the looks of the lonestars. As for the Hemmts there are hundreds of them here. I only live 5 miles from where they are built. I see alot of trucks haul them out of here but never a lonstar. I wonder how long it will be before we see one of those in a toy.

IDK what Gordy is trying to say, lol, unless he is a year behind, lol.
DCP released their Lonestar model in 1/64 right after Intl. made the big news of the Lonestar at the MATS 2008. The HEMMT is already being made by TWH in 1/50 scale. (pricey, but very very well detailed)

Hey I don't keep up on the truck scene like some of you guys. I don't go to TTT anymore so I don't know of all the toys that are coming. I have never seen a toy of that truck, I go to shows and we have a big farm toy and truck store not far from me and I have never seen that truck there either other wise I would have a fleet on my toy farm. I guess I am not that up on new toys that much anymore. From now on i will keep to myself.
