Class/Lexion cab top Not sure where you get 8010 case back though? it does not look all that close to me? Styling is growing on me but still nothing great, not like our dealer will get one in for a few years after release anyways.... Side note: I thought these were supposed to have a recession in the cab top for the GPS? I see its still up front :S

I think he ment like the whole back not the actual back of the machine. I dont know. That is one BEAST of a machine.

Ugliest combine so far, I seen these pics several months back.......
I think they made the body so it will just look big......seen a pic of one on a truck and it really isnt that big......our JD will never get one, they never got a STS either.

Hi
I am pretty sure Deere has done something other then change the styling on these new combines to look better, they are quite aware of the compitition and know they have to catch up, plus they are running a 16 row corn head on that monster and Deere's current combine, the 9870STS does not have the capacity to run a 16 row head well, and if it did, Deere would have had a 16 row head out earlier. I am sure there are some changes that we don't know about yet.
Lets not judge these machines until we actually get the specs and facts from Deere and see what farmers think of them. We are all aware Deere's behind in the Rotary combine market, but that's a given since they have been building Rotaries for only 10 years, where as CIH, New Holland, Gleaner etc have over 30 years of experence. Deere will get there as well.
As I recall Gleaner had trouble with the first N series Gleaners but now they are a well tunned machine, and I am sure the 1st year 1480 IH's were not perfect either. Lets face it, anything 1st year, reguardless of color will have some issue pop up.
Today, I don't think you can Really Claim who has the Best machine on the market, they all have there strong points, and there weak points( Goes for All Colors) and no matter what color you prefer or run, it will brake down eventually.
Just my thoughts...
Take Care Jason B

It doesn't matter a bit on what it looks like....How it performs is what matters ~TREY~

I agree Deere needs a bigger cab.....

My brother called me today and said he just saw it near our farm. It was pulled over to the side of the field and had a tarp over the engine (it's raining here again). It has 9870 decals on it with large single tires on it. He said the hopper extentions gave it away. There was an unmarked service truck with it too. He got some pictures of it. I'll try and get them here after the weekend.

My brother took some pictures of the new combine. When he first drove by them, they had the turbo and intake system removed and on their service truck. On Saturday when I drove by there was a guy removing the fan blade. There was also a second service truck there. Both only said John Deere and US DOT number on the bottom. We were guessing that something major broke down as why they would let that machine sit less than 1/4 mile off the county road and right next to the township road and less than 5 miles from the farmer's shop. The corn head is a 16 row and had a Stalk Master decal on it. Please don't share these pictures on other sites. These are exclusive to Toy Farmin'. These my brother took on Friday. There was a tarp over the engine and inside the cab over the seat, console, and steering wheel. I was only able to get one good picture on Saturday. If you look towards the back there is a guy standing on top with the fan out. He stared at me as I drove by. By Sunday, all was gone. I'm not a John Deere fan, but it was definently awesome to see something that is coming in the future.

Awesome pics, Josh. That would be neat to see for sure. The guy working on it was giving you the hairy eyeball when you drove by.
