... so I guess I have time to catch up on pictures. We are basically done with corn harvest although there has been talk of doing some for a neighbor. If this becomes a habit we truly will need a bigger combine. Neighbors 2388 Our combine and a different neighbors 2388. Strange how 3 red machines happened to be in 3 side by side fields. Sometimes its easier to leave one cart at the end of the field Group picture New field Neighbor might have RTK but he still cant plant worth a .... We rented another truck for harvest. It only holds about 800 bushels but it gets to dump faster because it uses a different pit than the hopper bottoms. Finishing up "out south" Milo Harvest: Truck finally got back Done for the night Moving fields The neighbor wanted some of his milo on a truck for chicken feed. Its awfully difficult to fill the old thing with the new cart. I finally got out of the grain cart for a day so I got to take some better pictures. Walking out to get in the combine The camera cant capture the image fast enough Carts full You can see the miniature dams we built across a washout. They help dramatically as the one further down the field is about 2 - 3 feet deep and 3 - 6 feet wide. Pretty blurry but its the only one I got CIH dealers truck offerings. Top of the line and... somewhere towards the other end Old straight truck at the tire shop

Looks like it has been a busy fall. Is that a John Deere corn head on your 2388?

I didn't realize milo residue almost looks like cornstalks. That's what confused me.

I didn't realize milo residue almost looks like cornstalks. That's what confused me. Dont worry its not to hard to confuse the two. The only way to tell the difference (if you dont have a chopping head) is that a milo field will never have any standing stalks left. Sean, I want putting down the old truck, just putting it in its place ;D Clayton, roads are a horrible mess. Ended up with like an inch of snow and an inch of ice on the roads and everything is a horrible mess. Our road is just a slop hole now and someone took a tractor down it and even had some troubles keeping it going straight.
