Wayne told me a couple times about a big farm deep in the next county. Where he buys straw from when his supplies are down and he don't have enough for the orders. Well I found them, it was close to the church event I went too. I kinda looked took what I could since no one was around. So I have plans to return for a better tour. I kinda drove through the farm yard taking a few pics, and hope to find an employee around. Their silos: Shed with some hay equipment: From looking at Wayne's set up. I think they mow down part of it. Instead of cutting it all. Which explains the SP mower. And I see they have 2 round balers. The shop: This is a big one. With 3 bays. Back side of the shop: This is from where I was at the farm's house trying to get the owners. So I got this shot from there. Straw bale processing plant: Man this is a big one. Far far bigger than Wayne's. From the info I got from Wayne they have 1 acre under roof just to keep straw in the shed, and to work it up into squares. Other side: You can see the trailers lined up where they haul off the squares to customers. The bale processor. I never saw a set up like this before. And they are using a in-line square on top of that. Very interesting set up. I think this could be their own design? They use a NH bale stacker as part of the trailer loader. Yeah I think this is their own built unit.
