The new 66 4020.

My brother got his new 4020 on Friday. He got a heck of a deal on it so he jumped on it. It is a slick tractor he bought it from the original owner. In the operators manual they have every oil change documented from June 1st of 1966. They wrote down everything they ever did to it in the manual. I think it is really cool to have the full history with the tractor. Here we are when we got her home.


Well today we worked on it some. There was massive amounts of mouse poo in the top of the cab. They haven't used it for a couple of years so the mice moved in big time. We also changed the engine oil and filter. Then did the fuel and trans filters. We also greased the throwout bearing and the front end. Then we took it out and tried out the dozer and pushed some manure, then we took the duals off. One of the duals was really stubborn. We finally had to push if off with a hydraulic jack. It has a tire that is going to have to be replaced really soon.











Sitting by the new baler it is going to be pulling.

looks real sweet without the duals on. the duals all rusty like they are make it look somewhat trashy. now she looks good. too bad it didn't come with the 3pt hitch.

I do think it looks better without the duals. They look pretty bad as rusty as they are. It would have been nice to have a 3 point but for the price Adam couldn't go wrong. The duals are shot I don't know if we will ever put them back on or not. Right now we don't have any equipment big enough to need them anyway.

well that is one good looking 4020 i just never like the old hiniker and yearound cabs but i definetly like it
