Well yesterday we made a very good addition to the machinery line up. About a month ago i scoped out a 1991 John Deere 4955 with only 5000 hours on a farm sale coming up about 30 miles from here. We have really been looking for an additional 200+ horsepower tractor since we got rid of the White 6195 about a year ago and plus the 4850 is starting to get up there in hours. I told dad what this tractor was worth and what he should go to. Long story short we basically ended up stealing it because luckily lots of items on the sale were going really cheap. It is in great shape with 5029 hours on it so im really surprised it sold so cheap. I haven't had a chance to look at it in daylight yet with school and basketball but i will get some pictures of it this weekend. It sure will look great working beside the 4850. Well anyways here is a pic of it from the auctioneers site.
