This is a huge longshot since its now winter but hopefully someone will have some pictures from this summer.
I need some pictures of a Rogator 1254 with the booms folded out so that I can see how the bracing is done. I have plenty of pictures with the booms folded but it is hard to tell what pieces belong to which boom section.
I also have a few questions.
1. The booms on the Rogator were offered in 90' and 100' widths. From what I can tell, they were both 60' booms when the tips were folded. So was the 100' booms just another 5' added to each tip? Thats what it looks like to me.
2. The adjustable axles. What widths were available? I know most sprayers are usually 90"-150" (I think) is that what these were also?
3. This is an even longer shot but has anyone ever seen one of these with aluminum booms and took pictures of it? I only know of one company, prommier (sp?) and a cheap knockoff of them but still, aluminum booms are neat, my brother in law has them on a CIH.
well if you can be of any help that would be great
Thanks, Austin

Thats fine, I think an 854 has different booms anyways since they are so much smaller.

hey austin, dont think I can help ya with the pics but, the 1254 was offered with 80/90 and 100 footers. the booms were all the same structurally, but the break aways were alot differant on the 100s. The pics of the 854 are actually pretty close, the 60,80,90 are all the same on all rogators no matter the tank size, just with longer tips added on. As far as the alum booms check the website for the Johndeere dealer in McCook Neb, there a huge sprayer dealer and in theyre last add I saw alot of there machines had alum booms. the adjustable axles are hydraulic, you can set them were ever you need from the seat. theres really no set spacing, not real sure on the narrowest or widest, but 90"- 150" is a safe bet. Sorry I couldnt be more help, good luck with you hunt.
