Warning, this thread may become quite overloaded with high quaility images Dailup beware.
Now some action starts!
I finally get into the bigger machine and get to start tearing piles of snow apart. What I do is just so picturesque especially at night
First we start off by fueling up, you know its pertty darn cold out when the exaust steams like that. and no, its not a cold engine.
I start off by moving one of the fan guns into place to start making snow, These things work pertty good and genterate their own air supply so we don't have to hook up any air hoses, but the downside is we have to be near a 220V outlet, which makes movement with them very limited
So now, up onto the hill we go
huh.. wasn't it just a little while go I took a picture in this same spot and there was a peaked pile there...... hmm....
Heres a huge pile to level out, and it wasn't intended to cover the base of the snow gun..... fits gunna hit the shan..... ;D
This has to be one of my favorite pictures:
more ice fog
another pertty big pile:
Now go back down to the base to add some oil, you would not believe how much oil this thing burns, its scary. I couldn't go a full 13 hours on a engine full of oil. The previous owners had to have run it very low to be burnig this much, it burns about a Liter a hour, but we can't do any engine work to it till the season is over.
Adding 8 liters to keep it running for another 8 hours
Ice fog drifting away from 3 different guns at the top
Back up we go:
I could not keep myself from bring my EZguide along just for fun ;D
...And that concludes my first big night
Heres my shift summary courtesy- the know-it-all-built-in-computer ;D
