This is my first time posting my display journals on this site, but if you have been on TTT or some of the other sites you might have seen some of the past journals, to know some of the background of the farm. With the holidays and snow storms, the local ethanol plant hasn't been getting much corn in. So this week they have really been pushing for corn, as their corn receiving has a sign on the door saying they will be open weekends until they get their silos filled. So it has been good news for our truck drivers that are busy hauling from local elevators to the plant. Even our two "farm" trucks have been hauling in. You have to imagine the snow on the display as im not going to dump flour all over my display. ;D Loading the farm trucks Stopped in the yard to roll the tarp over Warming up in the morning Parked at the end of the day. (all the trucks are plugged in to) We also bought two 28' pup trailers at a fleet sale in Sioux Falls, SD. Since all our trucks were busy hauling corn we had to have them delivered. They have the old Dayton steel rims, but we deal with them on the old International and trailers even with steel budd rims were selling for $1000 more so we figured we could deal with them some more. We are going to use them as water tenders for the sprayer, each will have two 1200 gallon tanks inside. We had the tanks sitting inside the shed, so we put them in the trailer to see how well they would fit and also to make some more room in the shed.

Nice journal. That is a good idea on those tender trailers. You can keep everything out of the weather that way.
