Well I bought this set yesterday at a toy show and I must say I am impressed with the trailers. The lowboy especially.
This set consisted of 3 different parts. The heavy haul semi (traded it off already), A lowboy with removeable parts, and a rear trailer.
The lowboy has a part that sits on the bed and has a 5th wheel hitch which holds a cradle for a beam. It also has a removeable cover that goes over the wheels on the back to allow the other trailer to sit on top of it.
The rear trailer is probably the most detailed of the 3. Is has a hydraulically controlled tongue that pivots up and down, it also has 2 independent groups of pivoting axles also hydraulically controlled.
In all, the only thing I dont like about this set is the cheap plastic wood decking that DCP used on the lowboy. But they made it easily removeable so I will be replacing it with some decent stuff. They made the out riggers fold out which is nice, I plan on getting some planks for them as well.
For $75 you cant go wrong on this set, there seems to be a lot of people interested in buying the extra trailer and parts. I probably got ripped off when I traded the Triple axle pete for a regular old W900 kenworth but I like the looks of the kenworth much, much better.
