I cut them off then JB welded some braket that went on the side. I then drilled a hole on the combine and a hole in the bracket that would go on the combine. I put a screw through the bracket that connected the bracket to the combine. I got the idea from the new CIH 9120 ertl came out with that had a plastice raiseable feeder house. I not very good a explaining things so hope this helps.

Let me try this again. 1. I cut feederhouse off combine. I cut ot off right where in connects to the combine so when feeder house is removed the front of the combine should be smoth. 2. I cut some small metal about 1 inch long. I drilled a small hole on the one end. 3. I then supperglued the two, 1 inch long metal bracket on the side of the feeder house. One on each side. 4. I JB welded the two 1 inch brackets once I located it even with each other. 5. I put the feeder house with the two brackets up to the front of the combine and made a mark where I wanted it to be located. 6. I then drilled a hole on the side of the combine apove the hole where the axal and wheel mount. Made sure that both sides where equal. 7. After JB weld dried I put up the to combine and put a screw through the hole drilled in the end of brackets and screwed it on into the combine. Make the screws tight enough the feederhouse will stay up but not so tight you can not move it. JB weld will break if under enough pressure. 8. I dabed alittle super glue on the end of screw so it would not unscrew itself. 9. Add alittle paint and your done.

I got the Idea off the new CIH 9120 Combine. It has one made outa plastic in that kind of design so I did it except I used metal. I wanted a raiseable feederhouse and did not want to spend any money. Mine did not need to be realalistic with lifting cyclinder and lateral tilt. Just needed to go up and down and I was happy.
