I all ways wondered why the millitary didnt do that to start with. I would think it would be alot more dependable.

yeah i have seen something like this before. only it was on a 4 wheeler and it was awesome. real REAL expensive tho. I think i may know why the military won't use them.
1. with those tracks on a vehicle, you can't travel very fast
2. they wouldn't do so well in the sand. sand would clog all the inner workings of the track and be a pain to clean out
3. too expensive
4. not as reliable as rubber tires.
tho they do have their flaws, i really want some of those for a 4 wheeler or a lawn mower (LOL). would be sweet to offroad with those things.
