Spring feild work, New Iron and home machinery

This first set of pics is me putting up rows with the MX240 and 12 row Sukup Cultivator. We just got the trimble RTK autopilot installed on the tractor. Mam o man was it a world of difference in this and teh EZ-Steer set up. So much easier getting lined up, repeatability and accurate. Was running 7.5 mph and no more then a quarter inch off at any given time period.










This next one is of the MX after we got the saddle tanks mounted on her.


And finally some new iron for the farm.

First is the our new John Deere 4105 tractor. This girl is loaded up with front end loader, pallet forks, hydrostat tranny, 6' box blade, and 6' bush hog. We have used it every day for something around the farm.


This one is of our new KBH nurse trailer


We used the frave off our old KBH nurse trailer for the crustbuster seed tender. We floored teh frame with treated 2x6's so we can throw the lock and load temik jugs on there and a few bags of seed.


Last but not least some home machinery for the littel one. Not 100% completed but good enough for now. It still gets a roof, picnic table and monkey bars.

Nope, we plant all our crops on raised beds. The ground warms up faster, the crop is elevated if we have heavy rain, and we furrow irrigate a lot so we just bed everything up.

That is a heck of a nice swingset, jungle gym combo. My daughter would like that. I am planning on building a big sanbox for my kids this summer. I may be getting carried away. I measured it and it is going to take like 3 yards of sand. Gotta have a place for my boy to play tractors.

Yep better keep em busy. Molly loves this thing. She is only 3 but climbs all over it. She has plenty of dirt to play in as we have an acre garden spot beside the house. she has the run of it in the spring and summer time.

They have a nice dirt place out at the farm to play in but since we live in town we don't have a garden. We have the worst soil I have ever seen in our yard. To get the flower boxes to grow I had to haul dirt in from the farm. I always wanted a sandbox as a kid but we had too many farm cats for sand. They left landmines in the sand. Dustin had an awesome sandbox that we played in at his house, so I want to build one for my son.
