I bought two Farmall Hs for parts the other day. One has flat spoked rims and rubber tires. They are 38 inch rims. Does anyone know if these could be original? I was thinking they may be from an F series. Would the axles be the same?

Sounds like cutoff's to me. When rubber became more popular than steel wheels farmers would cut the outer edge of the rim off and would replace it with a rim and tire. They were also lighter than the cast wheels and often you will see them in tractor pulls as an alternative to pressed steel rims. I guess they look something like this.

Yeah, they look very similar to those rims. Thanks for the information and the pic. Are they worth anything? Would people who pull be interested in that sort of thing? I haven't got much use for lighter rims.

I haven't got much use for lighter rims. They're worth the story behind them if there is one. If it was me and I wasn't doing any heavy pulling (like plowing discing etc.) I would just leave them on it.
