Hey
We have been busy on the farm the past couple weeks, as some of you may know. We have been dumping last year's oil out of machines and changing filters as well as spreading manure.
I got the 7140 and 5250 done this morning as well as the Dozer. Took the blower off the 5250 later that afternoon
Oh my....I can't believe my eyes....a MAGNUM is on the tank spreader!!!! This is something that has never been done in the history of history. We HATE to get the Magnums covered in manure so we usually run one of the 1586's on this. But, they were both on slingers.
We need more of these tractors around here...
Chopper controls....I personally like Deere's better but that's just me
I was greeted with a most welcome sight when I came in this morning....our new dryer. About 3 times bigger than I thought it was gonna be. It's a GSI and is a 1,000 bushel per hour model. I really like the looks of this and I will be glad when we finish corn in a timely manner this year
First time I have ever seen the inside of a continuous flow dryer. This pic is of the bottom half with the 2 fans
The top half, single fan
Oh goody....more pieces to the puzzle
Control box for the dryer....should be kept INSIDE.
The 1206 was running the pump off of the slurrystore. Had to take it off because the main bearings for the impeller shaft on the pump went.....3 hour repair
The guys got the oil and filter changed on the 9330 this week and it is on the turbo till for the time being. It will go on the Soil Commander later in the spring
Got EZ-Steer and the Trimble EZ-500 display that was in the MX135 in it. Waste not, want not.
1586 on the big slinger, the other 1586 was down at the heifer farm on the smaller slinger.
Old-ish and old-er
Now we're stylin' hahaha
That's all for this week. Stay tuned for more next week...I hope
