Well it's a good thing i got done field cultivating on sunday because Monday morning i was woke up to the sound of lots of rain. We ended up getting about an inch on Monday which for this area is alot at one time so it made our roads terrible which always happens when it rains. I was sitting at home on Monday afternoon when the phone rang, i picked it up and it was a UPS man wanting a pull out about 1/2 a mile south of our place. The roads were bad enough that I don't think a 2WD tractor without duals would have worked so the 4440 and 4040 were out of the question, so again it was good thing i was done field cultivating because i ended up unhooking the field cultivator and taking the 4850. Needless to say the guy was an idiot for two reasons, he should have clearly been able to tell before he turned onto the road that he would get stuck with a big 2wd truck and second, as if it wasn't bad enough he got stuck, he wouldn't sit still and wait he kept trying and trying to get out which it was obvious that wasn't going to happen, he must have turned the truck around 360 degrees 3 times trying to get traction which he never did and all he accomplished was to tear up the road even more before I got there....
Well anyways enough of me ranting and raving lol here are a few pics.
And this would be the yard i had to pull him to so he could deliver his package, i figured a few magnum lovers on the site might like to see these so i took a picture.
This farmer is Case IH to the bone, they have probably another 3 magnums besides those and lots of other older IH tractors on top of those. I don't hold it against him though because he also shares a strong passion with me of Silver combines ;D They have an R72 and L2.
Comments and questions welcome.
