Nice pics Jdeere, that is a nice lookin upgrade you made with the air seeder. I am also surprised to see you starting to do some no-till? That air seeder looks like its doing a perfect job for that. Thanks! looks like notill, in a way yes. Just fertilizer goes in one the first pass into the stubble, thus it makes it look like we're direct seeding On the second pass we seed so min till is what you call it I guess. About 3 passes less than last spring lol

Great pictures! My uncle in Manitoba used to run an identical Bourgault setup. Yep they are/were a very common sight across the prairies. along with Versatile pull type sprayers- Just about everybody has had one or still does, along these western parts.

We have exact same set-up except smaller: 4650 pulling an 8800 24ft. [this next spring it will be an IH 9130 pulling it though]. Also, why don't you put the N down with the granular applicator on the front? We have a single shoot seeder and put everything down in one pass, the N goes down in the same furrow as the seed.

Awesome photos, thank you for sharing. Its a lot of fun of us guys who grew up around farms and miss the culture but now are stuck behind desks to put bread on the table.
Thank you very much. John, the carpet farmer...
