Triple Hydraulics on our 4020.

We needed more than a single hydraulic valve on our 4020. We looked into going with factory valves. That was going to cost us about 1000 dollars. So we decided to go a different route. We mounted a 3 spool valve on the back of the cab. We ran rods into the cab and made some levers. They are handier than the ones on the dash. I wanted to go with a 3 spool so we could leave the dozer cylinder hooked up all the time as well. We were taking it off and putting a turnbuckle on it. I think this is going to be a lot handier. One other plus is we used pioneer couplers that way all of our hydraulic connections are the same. That is a plus as well. We only have about 450 dollars in this rig. I am sure the correct police will have a fit but this is a using tractor. It works really nice on the baler. Plus I can hold the lever with my leg while I am shifting gears and the twine arm is going across.

Looks very professionally made. I guess you could say you now have the rare dash and side console hydraulics. If I'm looking at your pictures did you just plug the 3 spool valve into the original single one?

Yep we just plugged it into the original. Then tied the original lever forward. It will be a while before I get to try it out. Second cutting is a ways off.

That is a great lookin setup Clayton. I also think those levers will be very handy, i think those look like they are even better then the hydraulic levers in the soundguards because it would be so easy to tell which one is which and they look like they are positioned very well to grab them easily.
