Well today i was needing to disk a little 10 acre field and i wanted to finally be able to give the 4955 a real test other than planting. We got the saddle tanks off of it and i got it hooked onto the disk. The 4955 can definitely out pull the 4850 because it pulled the disk about half a mile per hour faster, but it did seem like i couldn't turn as sharp with the 4955 for some reason i don't think the turning brakes work as good. I am also guessing that the pump must be turned up on the 4955 from its past owners since the 4850's is too a little bit, the 4850 was dynoed at 210 hp when we bought it in 2001. It would be kind of interesting to see what the 4955 is putting out. Here is one picture i took in the field. Got back from discing, unhooked the disc and i conveniently decided i needed to move the 4850 so i could mow ;D Anyways it just happened to get parked right beside the 4955, hmm a great opportunity for some pictures! lol, well here they are, i thought it looked pretty cool having the two biggest work horses of each series beside eachother. After mowing Thanks for looking, hope you liked the pictures.

Nice pics. Those are a couple of good looking Deeres. It would be fun to turn some dirt in either one of those bad boys.

Thanks Jon, although i already knew they are rated at 200 hp from factory and they each have the same engine, what im saying is their pump's are turned up so that they are putting out more then just 200, which i know is true since the 4850 was dynoed at 210.
