I'm not here to step on anybody or anything, but you guys might not know this, but JD hasn't had very good motors to back up the tractor. Out of the past 2 years i have worked at the farm i have worked at (which run all JD), they have had 3 motors go on them. 2 where JD 9220 tractors and 1 was the 7450 Pro Drive Chopper. All having injector problems.
I hope these are better.

Hi
Yeah Deere has had some issues with their Diesel Engines, But what Company has not had their Share of problems? Not picking on Shawn as I knew they had some engine troubles in combines and such. Not trying to start anything as I personally believe none of the manufactures can claim to have a perfect product, each and everyone of the brands have had their share of Lemons and success's, just seems Deeres having issues right now.
As for the 750hp engine, it likely may end up in a Large Deere FWD as well some Day, Heck the rumors swirling that Case IH is bringing out an STX 600 at 600hp, so a 750hp Articulate FWD is not out of the question or far fetched. Likely the 750hp engine will go into a SPFH at first and later a FWD and maybe a combine.

Intresting My friend was saying that John Deere is coming out with a QuadTrack farm tractor for there line up. That could be one or the use for that engine. I wouldn't doubt it because they used the QuadTrack design on their High Speed Dozer. He said it was Top Secret. I have not a clue how he would no this since he has no connections with John Deere. (Not that I know of )

I would seriously doubt they are building a Quadtrac. They already have the 9030 series "4wd". I would betcha it's goin' in a chopper.
Would they use these motors for industrial use also? Might go in a dozer. ~TREY~
