I finally realized last year that they are a source for cheap tires, especially implement tires.

yes i do its kind of funny how you can swamp the tires and rims off one ertl tractor and put them on another ertl tractor to improve it 10 times better. i also take wheels off the jd silage wagons disks or rippers and put those on an ertl implament that has all the plastic tires. i really like the effects of the ertl rim but standi tires around the rim. you also see alot of custom builers who buy out those 1 or 3 dollar plastic ertl toys just for wheels.
