Hi everyone. I thought it would be fun to put up some pictures from some toy shows from the past. These two pictures are from the Kaukauna WI toy show in 1986. I am the guy in the gray and white shirt, but do you know who the other person is? Have fun!   |

its gordy. that barn is in the pics of his workbench from what gordy has told me is that someone in ripon wisconsin makes thoes barns and gordy had one at the ripon show this year for sale. i would safley say thats not gordy.( i could be wrong) |

HA HA Jordan you are wrong that is me and I built that barn it took me over 1000 hours to build that barn. That was a time when there was nothing and I wanted detail so I started building buildings. That barn I had for sale a ripon is a copy of this barn here. It is also modeled off of a barn I used to milk in. The real barn was destroyed by a tornado in 1989. That is the first display I ever built and the first toy show I ever went to. I was 27 years old back then, man i looked like a kid back then.

Yes Jordan that barn in the picture above is the one that is in my shop now. That is the first 1/64th item i ever built and i still have it.

WOW Jeff....that was a LONG Time ago, that brings back some memories huh?? That was the 2nd show that Jack, Mike & I organized. You have any more pix from the Kaukauna Show to share? I have some old black & white's I took with Jerry & Larry Ludkte in 1 of them.....did u see them together again at Ripon this year? Tom

Was there any hint that made you come up with that one. LOL Just kidding with you dude. I saw his last name on the piece of paper in the first pic. So knew it was Gordy right away. Always look for the details in a display that was the first clue, also i have seen his old display which would be that one on the old TTS. So that was the younger handsomer Gordy. ha ha ha.
