It stays folded good. I don't know if the tractor will work with the 840 Kinzie or not. I don't think these drills are set up for applying NH3. You would have to pull a big tank covering 70 feet or you would be changing tanks constantly.

It seems to be the normal size that the hitches are.

Those are interesting reviews you guys are giving on the air drills. It seems that's what all wheat farmers are going to. My question is, what does a older guy do, with 2 almost wore out end-wheel drills, that doesn't want trade up to 4whl dr & air drl. Those things don't come in smaller sizes, I don't think. EVK

EVK Try to upgrade to the JD CCS drill. Just a thought. You get a no-till drill for grain and soys. Plus they make them small enough. Where you can pull it behind any of your Masseys.

Yaeh I agree with Sam. Look into a 20' 1590 box drill or a 30' 190 ccs. that would be able to handel what 2 10' end wgeels did plus allow you to take on more ground down the road with the same setup if ypu would want to.

We ordered a 30' CCS drill. Another local pioneer dealer has an 1890 CCS drill 30' that he pulls with a John Deere 8300. I know Great Plains makes a 30' fordward folding box drill and so does Sunflower, Landoll, Krause and Maybe Deere? You could find you a nice series III or IV steiger for real cheap if you ever did need a 4WD. I've seen some for 20,000, and that was a 210 HP machine.
