those are dang good machines in alfalfa. its basically the same head they put on all the NH and Case swathers for a few years. ours works real good in alfalfa, but it aint worth a darn in big cane. It gets along ok if its about 6-9 ft and standing, but if its bigger than that or laying down its a nightmare.

Nice looking haybine. I'm sure it will do well for your farm. I still have to get mine fixed up and try it out.

Those are nice haybines, my neighbor and uncle run them, YOur 4020 will run fin in hay maybe 5th but heavier watch your speed it will plug easy.

Ours was ok but after a few years the head gradually warped and we couldn't keep sections in it. They are fun to use but its nice not having to free up a tractor with a self propelled swather

I farmed with one for 10 years. It was a good machine, till it konked during some pasture mowing.
