I started swathing our hay on Sunday evening, but I had a little setback. I heard a woosh and fluid blew all over behind the tractor. I though I had blown a hose on the swather. Then the tractor leaned over. Flat in a hurry. Had to patch the rim last night and they came out and put on the new digger tonight. Will have a matching set as soon as we are done this fall and get the other tire off and patch the rim so the new tire can go on. Dang calcium is hard on rims.

Calcium really wreaks rims. I replaced a few rear rims due to that stuff. Where they was too rotted out. Or have spent a good bit of time to repair them.

Calcium isn't so bad if you can keep it covering the rim. When it is below the rim and mixes with air, that's when your trouble starts. Too bad about the tire, did you see what you hit.

I don't think I hit anything. I was in a nice smooth alfalfa field. It just split wide open. It was pretty dry rotted. I bet that tire is older than I am. LOL
