Looks a bit overkill for me! But of course if I had one, it would most likely be doing construction work, but whatever works for what you're doing with it.

Impressive rig there. That is what any big operation for silage needs. A super rig to move and pack silage. That will keep the silage from the new New Holland cutter or John Deere happy.

That's a neat idea, Being able to pick up the silage and carry it where you want in the pit would sure save the torque converter in the loader from getting hot. Everyone around here just uses 4wd's and blades, another attachment you could build for your loader would be a silage spike. It's basicaly a 25-30 foot pole on a quick attach plate, with about a 3'x3' plate on the end of it. A few feedlots around here use them to knock the top of the pits down and save a silage avalanche from happening.

That front end loader is a BEAST! Where'd you get it? What did you use for the silage?
