He don't own a dairy. Just a custom operator? Around here not many hire another just to cut. There is a couple combines that do custom work. I saw that at times.

A neighbour runs an FR9060. I've seen them go down the road with the corn head on, but I've never got the chance to take pics of them running it.

Southern - He doesn't own a dairy, there isn't a dairy around here for hundreds of miles. He just custom chops for people around here, between him and another one of my neighbors they chop pretty much everyones corn here, I cant think of anyone that still does it their selves, we did until about 7 years ago but this is just so much quicker that its easy to justify with the time we save.
Trey - I cant believe its dryland either, this year is producing the best dryland corn anyone has seen around here. We have 200 acres of dryland that we are going to combine and right now im thinking it will make around 115 as long as the frost holds off another week or two. That is pretty awesome for this area because in 30+ years of farming the best dryland corn dad has ever raised made 90. Last year it made 75 and we were happy about that.

Nice pics. There are several custom silage choppers around this area. About as many as there are combine crews.

Yea Manitoban is right it does have duals and I have to say I am very impressed with how well the duals look on it, not to mention it probably saves him alot of operating ease going over pivot tracks with all the pivots he chops. I'm not real sure why people haven't put duals on choppers before?
