Nice pics. How big is your family's farm? We are just a small time operation at about 450 acres of wheat, corn, and soybeans.

what do those gleaners have for motors in them? According to the operator's manual, the L2 had three engine options. The base engine was the 649T (301 cu in with turbo) at 130 hp. Next option was the 649I (301 cu in with turbo and intercooler) at 145 hp. Last is the 670T (426 cu in) at 158 hp. We have the 670T in ours.

Looks good, nice pics. Good to see a L2 still going strong. One of my neighbors ran one for years, kinda miss watching it working away. Been a long time since I've seen a blue Allied auger too. Forgot all about them, good to see.

Great pictures mnjosh! Your lucky you had protein, wish we would have, our elevators are now docking for all loads under 12% protein, most of ours were in the 9% area this year.. Sure does bring back memories seeing that L2 in action.
