Here's some pics of Rosendale Dairy chopping corn silage this year. They hire Van De Loo Farms of Kaukana and a few others to help. plus whatever local tractors they can gather for the pile.

Its not just 8,000 its more like 17,000. The parent company to Rosendale owns 2 other operating dairies and broke ground on a 4,300 this spring & and thereone in the planning stages. You may not think about it but Rosendale created a lot of jobs. They milk 23 hours a day. They have two parlors. That's 5-6 jobs per shift. 15-18 jobs without leaving the parlor. 2-3 guys who just feed.Several managerial jobs. Plus all the people employed by custom services. Generates a lot of money.
