I chose cummins. Since that's what we have most of. Cat is a second tho. Detroits where reliable. Still got one in the fleet. IDK about mercedes. There more over seas to me. More for smaller pulls? Never been around one. And i didn't even know international made engines. Are they in the new trucks?

Went with Cat. Love em. Second choice would be a tie between Cummins and IH. Really like the Ih Dt466.

It was a pretty good engine and you see it in a lot of their smaller truck. Our tandem has a dt466 rated at 225 hp. Previous tandem had one at 240 hp. All of our school's buses use dt466s.

Voted for CAT. We now have 4 KW all with CAT and they run great never a major problem. Our Cummins and Detroit engines don't seem t hold up quite as good.

I voted awhile back, but forgot to post.. I chose CAT as dad ran them in all his previous trucks and his Pete that he runs for a company now and I have a lot of experience with them. Detroit in second then International in third and Cummins in 4th.
