Are DCPs easy to take apart and put together? I am wanting to paint the interior and th chrome air intakes. Thanks, Ty

White on Jan 17, 2012 1:01:39 GMT -5 Everything comes apart either with screws, or the smaller parts like mirrors, stacks, etc. are held on with plastic pegs that are "mushroomed" inside. Pry carefully, you shouldn't have any issues. James

It has inserts like Mr.White said and it has some glue to hold it.

I have also take very tiny drill bits and carefully removed the back side too.

That's probably a better approach than prying, especially if you want to preserve the chrome finish, ie no scratching.
