The 70 lives again!!! (video added)

I got my 70 running today. It was good to have it going again. I dropped a valve on 5-16-08 working feed ground. I finally had enough money to get it going again. I had to put a different set of pistons in it. I put 720 pistons in it. It cost me about 820 dollars to get going. I worked on it yesterday and today. I got it going about 4:30 today. I took it out and pulled the ripper with it to warm it up. Once it is warm the head bolts have to be re torqued. I figured that would be a fun way to do it. Here are some pics.

Here is a video of trying to start it. The fuel system was being stubborn. Had and airlock. That is a nice thing about a pony motor. You can crank for a long time. ;D It started right up shortly after this but my camera man had to leave. ;D

The cows were watching us too. That is one of my first calf heifers she had him last sunday.

Im telling you, the foot print gas pedle makes a difference. Haha, glad to see shes ready to go.

Thanks guys. I have one of those foot print gas pedals. I can't remember where it is. Mayble I should get 2 of them and put them on the turning brake pedals. ;D

Here is a video of the 70 starting. It has the pony motor. I already had the pony motor warmed up so this is just starting the big engine. I usually let the pony run for 3 or 4 minutes to get good and warm before I start the big one.
