FFA week was a success! As a reporter this year, I got the privelige of planning out the week. With no school on monday, we started out with our annual sausage and pancake breakfast on Tuesday morning. Wednesday brought on Farm Safety day with some informative classes on safety at the college. Thursday we had a plaid and jeans day just for fun. And finally Friday brought drive your tractor to school day. Last year I took the 8650. This year I was planning on taking the 9330 but it was in winter service at GBFE (Great Bend Farm Equipment). Anyway, Dad decided to try out an 8360R this spring so I brought it home from the dealer and looked it over. Was very impressed with the cab. IVT is a plus, I can see the efficiency in the transmission. Started out at 6:30 this morning and met up with a buddy. He brought his uncles 8330. It was cool to compare the 30series FWA with the R series FWA. We then met up with the rest of the possy in town. Case 180 and... A lawnmower? Shucks... lol We're a racist bunch.. The green side and the red side! The good. I think she thinks my tractors sexy! Trey

A couple buddies of mine tried to see how many cars they could get backed up on the 15 mile drive. They said they got 39 cars.

Our FFA week was also a success. But we drive our tractors to school on the last day of school. We get everything from 4 wheelers, skid steers, lawn mowers, and big 4wds. Everyone drives, not just FFA guys.

When I was a senior I took in our MX240 FWA. Really made everyone mad when I took up both lanes leaving school and they all got stuck behind me. Good times.

That's some mean green power there! Our FFA high school chapter does that, but things like that usually don't come in.

There is another John Deere way on the end on the left you can barely see it and another kid left with his lawnmower after the pic was taken.
