This is the by far the earliest i have been out planting. But oh well i think the weather will cooperate, and with it seeming to only get drier out i figure why not. Also wanted to try out the new planter The 4440 handled it wonderfully, i'm not sure why a bunch of people were telling us it would no way run this planter. I will get more shots as the season continues, Just did a small 35 acre field last night. short clip, It is VERY hard to drive straight and hold the camera behind u ;D . I also learned that i need to get the windows washed a little better ;D my quick get it done job was kinda crappy. Was kinda sad we ran out of time to get the GPS stuff hooked up. But we should have it setup for the sprayer this year, and planter next year. s155.photobucket.com/albums/s302/austin7930/?action=view¤t=2012-04-11_19-24-37_271.mp4til next time...

Good looking planter! You don't put down insecticide with the refuge rows? Do you use in bag refuge? Patrick

this year we have refuge in the bag, kinda neat looking with the pink seeds mixed in with the blue. or at least the cropland 3424 is that way, its the only number we've planted so far.

Great to see you are able to get out and plant. Hopefully the freeze is fom for good an y'all do alright.
Great to hear there were no issues with the planter/tractor combo as well
