This is a Custom built Dcp 28' Wilson Grain Trailer, I just finished up the trailer after about an hour and a half ago of cutting and etc. to try to get this trailer from a 43' to a 28'. I was praying the whole time I was doing it to not screw up a $40 trailer. I cannot beleive I cut into a Dcp Product for the first time and plan on getting another trailer and making this combo into a B Train. Looks good. Do you mean super b? That's a good idea, but your trailer is a little short. Not to scale IMO. All the ones I've seen have 2 hoppers. If you had a tandem and put a dolly, then that would be sharp.

Then connect the trailer I have now and it will be complete. No mine is not too short. That is a 28' trailer or (5.25") It is right on the money to be 5 1/4".

Okay then. I know what they are, we own 5. Just let me know if you want some pics. The hopper must be out of scale then.

Thnx Dallas and yea I will take all the pics I can get. All they say is usually 28' in front with the 3 axles then a 30' or a 28' in the back. Yup I am staying with scale, I know it looks short but nope it is too scale and would look real with the Super B.

Okay I knew something wasn't right. So I went and measured. The pup is 32 front to back. The lead box is 28, with your tri behind that. Which is depending on your trailer. So you did mess up the pup by 4 feet.

Lol oops, I wasn't measuring or reading. I see that Pups are 30 or 32. Which is just fine, I just was going off of another guy that just sold a Super B on ebay which he had 2 28' trailers. Owell I can always keep this one because there are 28' Pups that are not Super B's or sell it. Because I am sure this little 28 could bring some fair money since I have seen other ones go high.

That's possible. If it doesn't look right with the lead, you can always just make the lead into a tridem.

Nope since I didn't cut it down the middle becuase I had to do mine a little longer and your's is probally shorter than 28' no matter what because it wouldn't work no way to stretch that inside out of if you make a custom v shape inside. I had to glue everything shut but about 95% percent of the people that do this glue it shut because it just wouldn't work out and it doesn't look so pretty inside lol. How long is yours like a 24' or something?

That is great Austin. I really like those short trailers. I know what you mean about cutting into an expensive toy. It hurt the first few times, now I don't even blink!
You are right, you will be able to turn it and make money if you do not want it.

Yea i know, i always love customizing and making some money but I think I will make another 28' but with 3 axles and make a b train. Possibly sell it and make another one to keep. Maybe Chrome and Black or Black and Black. What looks better for all tarp and hopper choice?

I do like these smaller single hopper trailers though..

When we had to repaint one of area a few years back, we did white with a red stripe down the back. The hoppers where open so we did the walls red. Then we have some closed end the the backs are black, and the sides are white. They have like a backwards C on them to. I'll get out today and do some measuring with some pics

I like the white as well and a red would look nice. That is about the only Super B color and grain trailer color.

When they make super b's im sure you can get them any color. We've repainted so many it's not even funny. We had some white and blue ones that are now white and silver. Hell if you told Lode King you wanted them pink with purple walls it would probably roll off the line like that.
