well my dad got a new truck for the fert. business..2012 chevy 2500 reg cab duramax. we had a 2011 four door dmax and it was a really nice truck but it was more like a family vehicle...not for working. we ended up trading off our jeep for a newer "family car" to replace the 4dr duramax. TBH.. fourdoors are stupid unless your haulin people around!!!

I'll take the 4 door truck over a 2 door any day of the week and twice on Sundays.

I'll take the 4 door truck over a 2 door any day of the week and twice on Sundays. I would have to agree with that, and to take a one step further a 4 door with an 8ft box.

It sure works good on the farm. A Crew Cab with a 8 ft box exp for irrigation parts and crap. Always need to be carrying around elbows, clamps, gaskets you name it.

I would much perfer a 4 door but on another note... you could always throw a fancy diamond plated tool box in the back for that extra storage space

I couldn't ever go back to not having a four door. Of course with 2 kids and number 3 on the way. I need the space. ;D

I prefer a 4 door but a regular cab is nice. Dad's truck (the beater truck) is great over-all except for mpg. But on the other hand Joe's Chevy 2500 Dmax regular cab is just as nice but without the bigger cab. I would prefer Joe's truck but with a cab like on Dad's truck.

I rather do a regular cab or extended cab. My new truck what ever I end up with. I would like an extended cab. So I can put stuff in the back and kids. Just thinking ahead. The truck, I'm after the most is a Ford that is for sure. Dodge has poor quality issues (and Not even American) , and GM (Government Motors) I rather have a real brand that don't take hand outs. Ford didn't take a bailout/hand out.

I like having a 4 door.. Nice big back seat lol On the farm, we have extended cabs and regular cabs. Having to cart hired help around requires extra room and they definately don't want to sit in the bed. Trey
