Well that's not so bad I guess. I still won't be adding one to my collection though.

I've waited three years for it! Only to see this? On the bright side, being only 8 bucks it will be useful to make quick little projects off of. The toolbar you could use for another planter frame or whatever, being that the plastic is similar to styrene.

I agree on that, I wonder why it took years to come out. When it was just a small change in the toy? They should went and put the middle tank on it. Oh well, Ertl is not what it used to be anyways. Got to get what you can.

Styrene = plastic Also known as polystyrene.Until you start cutting away @ it and it goes to crap in a hand basket due to its poor quality. Be interesting to see a picture of the backside.. What are you using to cut with? If you are using a Dremel, all you will do is melt the plastic, it doesn't matter how good or bad the quality is. Even if you had a very rigid plastic like polycarbonate, you'd still just melt it.

Anyway, the thing is they took 2-3 years for this!? I know Ertl is a business and they just want the money, but really?! You do have to consider the fact though, this is made for younger kids, ages 5 and up I believe just like the 1790.
