Last year on the 4th of july i was baling my FIRST cutting of alflafa. This year i baled my SECOND cutting on JUNE 29th. But last year i got 56 bales off my first cutting......this year i have gotten a total of 29......off two cuttings!!! For my second cutting i used a New Holland 1475.....or as CNH says......a CIH SCX 100..... Clip of some cutting action s155.photobucket.com/albums/s302/austin7930/?action=view¤t=2012-06-24_21-04-34_373.mp4It seems like every implement we put behind the god ol' 4440 lately makes it look like a lawn tractor... haha go big or go home i guess Cleaning off the baler after i got done i put this neat camera system on the baler so i can watch the bale come out, i am really glad i did that got "steve" my bull in with the cows on july 1st also finished the second pass of roundup on the beans

Great pics!
Sorry to hear about the low yields in hay this year. Not sure what they are getting here in southern Wi but I know back in Pa my cousin is doing quite well.
Steve looks like he's quite a stocky fella! How old is he?

In my small town East of Madison (Columbus, Wi) 3rd crop yields have been crap and our new seeding is nothing but weeds

Good alfalfa this year here. You don't look to be too terribly bad compared to some. That Steve looks like a fuzzy little fella, ain't he?

I can do 5000 a year easily with my 568 deere
