Nice those Gleaners bring back memories of the R2 that used to work in the neighbors corn fields when I was young.

Wicked cool thanks for sharing. I live in Dodge a bit west of Spearville and I am familiar with Stegman.
I am curious, how is the Stegman driver that was hit by the train last year? It was just on the east side of Bellefont. I passed that wreck about 9 PM. Baaaaad site.

ericcks, wish i would have known that we killed quite a bit of time over in dodge city.
That driver got hit two years ago actually, that sounded like a terrible ordeal. Very bad site, he showed us all pictures of it so the truck drivers would be more careful than he was. Unfortunately, he didn't make it, I think he passed a couple months after the accident.
Lane, I agree with you on best combine ever! are you talking average in yield, acres, or ground speed?

Great looking combines. How wide is the cut on one of those?

The 75 and the 77 both have 35 foot drapers and the 72 had a 30 foot auger head.

Very nice pictures. On the S77, why did they go with the Precision rotor instead of the factory CDF? How did the S77 perform for them?

Lane we usually averaged about 400 acres a day with the 3 combines running about 12 hours.
Trey, thats my favorite probably too, that would be Veronica lol.
Mnjosh, my boss is a huge fan of precision rotors and there is good reason for that. He has ran them in his combine for as long as they have been out, before I started he told me how great they were and I didn't quite believe him. After running one for a couple weeks I was sold on them. Precision rotors eliminate all rotor loss, corn and wheat, the sample with them is unbeatable, we had 0.00 dock on every one of our loads and we were throwing over nearly nothing, plus they increase the capacity of a Gleaner significantly. I was so impressed by those rotors that when I got back from kansas I had my boss find us a precision rotor and our R62 now has one in it too, our R62 would run with any R72 with a standard rotor.
The S77 was rough at first, it had quite a few problems in Oklahoma due to quality control from the factory, after we got the bugs out of it it has been cutting wheat like crazy and hasnt had any issues since Oklahoma.
Im glad everyone liked the pictures, thanks for the comments guys.

Thank you for uploading these images, they bring back a lot of memories. I spent many years in that John Deere 4960. Ran the R72's some when they where new in 1995 then in 1996 and 1997. We had the demo R72 in 1994, that thing was huge compared to the R70's we ran that year. Reg and I are counsins, I grew up in Spearville and worked for his dad for several seasons. I really wanted to make it back home for wheat harvest but it didn't work out this year since it was 2 weeks early! Nathan Z Colorado Springs, CO

Small world Nathan! Would have been cool if you could have been there for harvest. I really enjoyed helping Reg this year, strongly considering it next year, it's just a matter of whether i should or not because I have so much to do here at home. Glad you got to see the pictures.

ericcks, wish i would have known that we killed quite a bit of time over in dodge city. If you go again we will have to connect. I combine cruisers and I saw the machines cutting and we drove around. Saw the 77 setting in the yard too. THink I got a pic of that. Eric
