Hello, I decided that im going to abort on the scratch built S77. I just ordered 2 new in the box R52's that im going to customize into an S77. Im going to need some help from you way more experienced guys here. Im going to need advice on how to make ladder, mirrors, new decals or where i could get them, and last but not least how to make a raisable feeder house because it looks like the feederhouse on it is offset. Please help me!

Two new R52's sounds like a really expensive way to try to build a combine out of. I'd try to build one out of styrene first.

PM sent. Styerene is cheap and fun to work with. The N6 and N7 through the S67 and S77 share the same width due to the 90" rotor. The R52 is quite a bit more narrow as it has a more narrow rotor. For this reason, I would not use a ERTL casting for a S77, however I don't have time to do many builds anymore so I can't fault someone for making a 52 into a 77 I know the feeder was ofset on the N7 through the R70, I imagine it hasn't changed. You could do a Moore's feederhouse kit which is probably a bit too wide for the Gleaner, or you could scratch build one from styerene. As for decals, Mark Wikner has N7 and R60-R70 decals, he might have 77 decals now, not sure. John

Well I have decided that since I have an obsession with geaners that im going to customize the R52s with all the spare parts from my combine scrapyard and scratch build 2 s77s. Im going to start on the S77s later this week

I think you would be better off to find some of them C62 gleaners or the equivalent massy and chop the walkers off, then rework the back end a bit, make a new unloading auger, and rob a cab off the A86 gleaner
