I bought the Ertl Steiger Tiger IV and I wasnt really happy with the tires. I want to put some bigger tires on, but I dont know if anything bigger than 30.5x32 will fit under the fenders. Does anyone know?

When the Tigers were produced 30.5-32's were the just about the biggest tire produced. The fenders were probably not big enough to take a larger tire. A set of Trelleborgs would probably look good on a Tiger. Hopefully this helps

Steelin81 is right, back in the 70s and early 80s 30.5x32's where the only big tire offered by any manufacturer that I can remember, however I've seen a set of new Telleborgs on a real Versatile 895 that looked really good. I don't think they where 850s but they where darn big and make the 895 look really really mean. I'd say give it a try, what's to loose?

Well as of right now, all I could get to fit were 750/65-38's and they arent wide enough in my opinion. I might end up putting triples on but I dont know if anyone makes a banded triple rim.

Well with a little dremel work I managed to get some bigger tires on it. They are 800/70R38's that Daryl Stangler makes. They arent as big as the Standi ones I dont think but they look good and dont rub too bad.

I use the 20.8X42 tires on Brian Long's banded rims for triples....
