Im thinking about buying the ertl S680 combine but i dont like the bean header that comes with. So i had the grand idea of cutting my ertl 35' draper header down to 30' and using that. the only problem i foresee is the difference in the header clips between the draper head and the head the S680 comes with. i was wondering if someone could post a picture of a S680, or any S series combine, with the ertl 35' draper head so i could see how it looks. thanks!

Yes the clip on the draper that come with the s690 will not fit on the s680 so you need to make a different clip so it on the s680

Looks like you can cut tabs off the draper header and make new one wider to fit s680. I don't have pics but looking at them I might work. Hope this helps. Mwf
